The Michigan Association for Justice Joins the Protect MI Families Coalition

Protect MI Families is excited to announce our next coalition partner: the Michigan Association for Justice.

The Michigan Association for Justice (MAJ) is a membership organization that works to advance the needs and interests of trial lawyers. MAJ is the largest organization of trial lawyers in Michigan, using their base of support to provide the resources trial lawyers need when they represent injured Michiganders, strengthen public safety, and protect the right to a trial by jury. They also represent the interests of trial lawyers in the Michigan legislature and provide educational resources for these lawyers.

Their work extends into legislative advocacy, as they have joined Protect MI Families in asking their membership to support Senate Bill 245 and create an Insurance Bad Faith Law in Michigan. Ultimately, they are dedicated to the pursuit of a fair and effective legal system that ensures all Michiganders have the representation they need.

We look forward to working with such an impactful organization to advance consumer protections for families all across Michigan.
